An extensive range of options exist in terms of accommodation in Clovelly, where cottages, guest houses and lodges are enclosed by a wetland nature reserve. Clovelly is situated on a mountain side, and overlooks Fish Hoek and the Silvermine Valley. The wetland is a water bird sanctuary and also home to the endangered Western Leopard Toad.

It is easy to see why Clovelly property ranks amongst the most sought after in the Cape, as the neighbourhood is exclusive but still holds an appealing country quality.

Situated between Fish Hoek and Kalk Bay, Clovelly boasts with a long stretch of beach that offers a concrete walkway at its southern end from which you can admire the breathtaking views of the bay. Whales frequent the area between June and November, and dolphins often glide and surf in the waves. From Clovelly you are also close to Kommetjie, Scarborough, Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve via a short, often scenic drive.

The Clovelly Country Club lies tucked into the valley, and is regarded as one of Cape Town’s finest courses. Set in amongst the natural sand dunes, the course guides you up the valley through a tight par 72 layout with an interesting blend of holes, making use of the natural water hazards provided by the Silvermine River. Notable features are the championship-quality greens and the course's ability to remain in good condition throughout the year.
