Delareyville Accommodation North West Central Region

Delareyville North West Central Region Information

Delareyville is named after the famous General Koos De la Rey and was founded in 1914 (after the Anglo-Boer War).

The town is the centre of a prosperous and progressive farming community. Agricultural activities in the area include mostly the production of maize, sunflower, sorghum and groundnuts. Salt pans that can be found all over the district contribute generously to the salt production of the country. The Earth Satellite Station was also erected here.
