Sabie Mpumalanga Escarpment Information

Sabie is situated at the centre of the largest man made forest in the world. The town was established in 1895 during the gold rush, however there are signs of the earliest inhabitants being the San and Bushman people. There are many rock paintings and stone tools to be seen. Bridal Veil Falls and Horseback Falls can be seen along the scenic track adjacent to the Sabie River. There are many attractions for the whole family and activities include fishing, absailing and archery.
